Terms of Service

Last updated: July 30, 2026

Welcome to lcxl-remote-desk (the "Service"). Please read and fully understand these terms before registering or initializing the Service. By checking the consent box you accept all of these terms.

1. Service Description

lcxl-remote-desk is an AI-native remote desktop solution that lets a browser or an authorized AI control endpoint perform remote screen sharing, mouse / keyboard input injection, file transfer, clipboard sync, and virtual display operations on a controlled device, offered in public-cloud (personal / organization) and private-cloud deployment forms.

2. Account & Registration

Individual users may self-register an account (whether registration is open is configured by the deployment). You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account, and you must provide accurate registration information. A device belongs by default only to the personal account that registered it.

3. Remote Control Risk Notice

Remote control grants the control endpoint real-time operation of the controlled device. Only authorize connections you trust. The controlled device shows an authorization prompt before granting control, and exclusive mode temporarily switches the display output. Do not leave a controlled device open unattended without protective measures.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to access, control, or monitor other people’s devices without authorization, nor for any unlawful, infringing, or network-endangering purpose, and to comply with the laws and regulations applicable where the device is located.

5. AI Features

The Service includes a diagnostic AI Agent and a read-only MCP service. The AI may request command execution during diagnosis, but it cannot bypass execution policy: only the device owner, after enabling interactive execution on their own device, can review the full command and explicitly approve it one command at a time; unapproved or blocklisted commands are not executed. Diagnostic evidence is mandatorily redacted before being sent to a model, and the call aborts if redaction fails.

6. Data & Privacy

How the Service collects and processes data is described in the Privacy Policy. Optional features such as enabling telemetry or using platform AI models may involve data transmission, which you can manage in the corresponding settings.

7. Billing

Only the platform’s own AI models are billed by usage; personal / organization models using your own key are not billed. Specific billing rules follow the billing notes in the console.

8. Availability & Disclaimer

The open-source baseline components of the Service (lcxl-remote-desk-web) are licensed under Apache-2.0. The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranty of uninterrupted, error-free, or fit-for-a-particular-purpose operation. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of or inability to use the Service.

9. Changes & Termination

The operator may update these terms, with updates published on this page; continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.
